A term that often serves as a good substitute for ‘creativity’ is ‘agency’.

That is, our involvement, participation and ability to Do.

Plain and simple.

​

The Absurd is a form of creativity and agency as well.

In fact, Absurdism is an entire anatomical, vocal and imaginal fountain 

for personal mythic expression, venting the conscious-subconscious and inventing meaningful confabulation. 

More, perhaps, than the daily-round of "normal" embodiment, Absurdism bridges our ideals to what is real.

As in, this corporeal-fantasy we call "living".

It represents a certain un-specifiable journey.

The Way of How.

It challenges, but is made more accessible through group facilitation.

SPIRITUS ABSURDUM

Could be for everyone.

However..

These practices are Not for everyone.

 

One of the primary, guiding principles of this system and teaching is that:

Absurdism is a sacred-nonsense, a sacred irrationality, a sacred daftness,

a necessary incongruity and a logical illogic. 

That is, combining Spirit-proper and The Absurd.

It is also a plenum in the planning. A substratum of strAngel-strategy.

As a long-time, multiple schools, idiomatic-idiot, a veteran merry andrew, a numbskull, goofball, chucklehead, nincompoop, wisecracker and side-splitting, world-renouncing monk of unreason,

I’ve come to know a thing or two.

For one,

self-parody liberates the ego-dream for the soul to bloom and shine through.

At the end of the day, we become more of our perceiving, breathing, older and greater Self and being.
 

SO..

This is what I aim to impart: 

In order for Agency

(the causal-essence of natural creativity

which gives access to creature-growing & creator-citizenhood)

to blossom beyond our personal expectations, constraints and limitations, we can 

cultivate a positive comprehension of The Absurd as a sacred, fruitful, rare-area

for personal involution, evolution and healthy mutation. (Of the essence, mutiny).

 

Why?

Because, the soul’s mode of being is it’s mode of perception.

And perception evolves and increases with necessity.

Sometimes Being necessary is Doing necessary.

In this work it can take many forms:

Dutifulness; Transparency; The beautifully grotesque; the larger-than-life; a charitably obnoxious flower-critter; 

the luminously-obscure blue-rhinoceros , a priestly-drunkard channeling pious facetiousness. 

Infinite forms.

Each as unique and genuine as it's master-creator, You.

That is, much more than what the ego has come to expect and limit.

At the very least, taking ourselves less seriously is moving in the correct, general direction.

If grasped instructively, self-parody is the deeply-enriching lower road to The Higher Self.

Also,

Weather you are simply a self-developing Creature-Citizen in this beautifully-absurd salon and container (where there are plenty of other intuitive/embodiment/discernment activities, events and practices that take place),

or, in addition, you're on-board to build-out your personalized SuperZero, Sublime Simpleton, Strange Angel or Altered Ego, it is important also to understand the playful, and yet cosmic gravity and necessary balance, 

suggested by the SPIRITUS half of the SPIRITUS ABSURDUM mission and scheme.

"As above, so below."

This magical axiom is a total statement.

Embodying it physically & psychologically is a Total Act.

Insta-Liberation.

Bridging The Real to The Ideal.

So it is instructive to consider, finally, that..

Mother-Father God, or Great Spirit

is the only One and Final Thing.

Indwelling and All-encompassing.

Singular as to be multiple.

Actual but not conceptual.

Below-above and above-below.

The sacred substance that the ISness means business.

More immanent than transcendent.

Infinite mystery as it comes through immediate comprehension.

Correct, singular, virtually generic, and yet, All-pervasive

SPIRITUS..

..is the Gravity that grounds ABSURDUM's Levity.
