"CREATURE" & The Real
Primordial-Relationships Triangle
Or, Trinity of The Terrestrial
SOIL SOUL
SOCIETY
Psycho-Sentient GUIDANCE
(Water & Earth = Receptivity)
NOTE: Compare these distinctions with the other, "Citizen" & The Ideal: Dual/Non-Dual & Synergy triangle.
NOTE: These seemingly categorical-designations Do Not represent a summary of moral/spiritual Being. Rather, they constitute an effort to recognize the beautiful complexity of our human-condition and Being and, thereby aim toward enhancing our awareness, attitude and psycho-physiological and emotional well-being.

Three Dimensions of the Ecological and Real Self: SOIL, SOUL & SOCIETY
These 3 terms, allocating the three points of the above triangle, represent our Primordial Relationships. They originate from the ancient Hindu text, the Bhagavad Gita, as yagna, tapas and dana (Sanskrit) and represent a holistic trinity that unifies Ecology, Spirituality and Humanity. Translated here as Soil, Soul and Society.
Great movements and perennial philosophies have often summarized their essential messages in trinities. One of the Hindu trinities is: Brahman, Vishnu and Shiva (the principles of creation, continuity and decay). Christians have: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Greeks focused on: truth, goodness and beauty. The American Constitution came up with: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and the French Revolution with: liberty, equality and fraternity. In our own time, the new age movement gathered around the concepts of: mind, body and spirit. These trinities have their point and are relevant in their own context but none of them represents a truly holistic and ecological worldview. They are either spiritual or social but they are anthropocentric and fail to highlight the human-to-nature connection. Only the trinity of yagna, tapas and dana is willing to do the dirty-dirt work.
For the purposes of this Creature Citizen Beauty Salon, these ancient relationship dimensions are meant to contextualize and grow a greater comprehension of what "CREATURE" refers to for all participants here.
Again: SOIL being our human-to-nature relationship; SOUL our human-to-divine relationship; and SOCIETY our human-to-human relationships. All three are ever-interweaving and interdependent.
Therefore, the triangulating device or emblem, seen above, is a constant weaving of our embodied, living experience; our natural-vital relationships; and the ever-changing conditions and undeniable impacts of the psycho-sentient terrain immediately around us. We are Animal/Vegetable/Mineral-Angels. Or, for comic-grotesque purposes, StrAngels. As in, we are not meant to be strangers here in the terrestrial world. And it takes a bunch of "clowns" to stand-in as the revolting, rejoicing and reconciling dolts, chuckleheads and failures we mortals be.
The emblem above constitutes and relates through us as the intelligence (Not intellect) and domain of personal and proximal Creature-dom. That is, the Psycho-Sentient GUIDANCE it is always offering us: the immanent, animate, soul-aware, sensate and sensual, growing ways of "knowing" and discerning.
Being Somatic in nature, this is the domain of Being, rather than Doing. As in the Art of Be-ing Human. We are human beings, not human doings.
'Human' comes from the Latin humus which means 'earthly'. We are, always-already and of essence, Earthlings. The Latin for 'soul' is 'anima', (to breath) which gives us our words 'animal' and 'animate'. And, "Anima Mundi" or The World Soul, is the old-world lens, frame and means of comprehending this whole wiz-bang operation we still guess at determining, through undeniable anxiety and stress, today. Yes, today, all the while, situated just behind and before all our privileged expectation-ing and convenience-eating, our animate-animal Being loiters in perpetual actuality. From there, every morning, we enter the partial trance of "Citizen" or The Subject/Object dilemma in the "catastrophe of materialism", where we act-out our personas, social-masks and whatever it is we've acquired, in addition to our inborn, innate character or essence.
Character is another word for soul. Our inborn essence is our naturally innate character or soul.
Michael Meade says, "The language of the soul is poetry and often inwardly visual-poetry." And, "Nature only creates originals. So every soul and person is unique. And so we should respect all people."
All people are different people.
In the same way, though a more comprehensive trinity model, the Primordial-Relationships Triangle validates and accepts what has been and what is always-already becoming so.
